Day Skipper Theory course at UTMYC this winter

The course involves 40 hours of classroom tuition together with homework during a 6 day course spread over 3 weekends. The last weekend being for revision and the assessments. Lectures will start at 0830 on each day in the Clubhouse and finish around 1730 with half an hour for lunch.

The dates are:

Sat/Sun 2/3 November

Sat/Sun 16/17 November

Sat/Sun 7/8 December

The course fee for ROSC members is £240.00 which includes the RYA course materials: course notes; exercises book; two practice charts; a training almanac and a completion certificate. You will need drawing instruments (a Portland Plotter and a set of dividers) for the chart work. If you don’t already have these, UTMYC can purchase them for you at a discounted price from the RYA, alternatively you can buy them yourselves.
