Members' photo competition 2021

Start the new year by sharing your favourite photographs in our 2021 photographic competition. There is no theme to the competition this year except that entries must have a nautical/maritime context – we are a sailing club after all. Pictures can be as old or new as you like. There will hopefully never be a better opportunity to sort through your photograph collection and select your favourite images to share with us all.

This year we intend to display all entries on our website so that we can all look at them before judging. The idea at the moment is to involve you all in the judging as in 2019 – except that this time it will have to be done on-line, probably via Zoom. As before the approach to judging will be irreverent and we might make awards for special categories - to be determined when the entries have been reviewed, e.g.humour, artistic, etc..

Your entries should be sent to John's email address by 28 February 2021.

Digital images are preferred. Please submit them at the highest available resolution (if this means nothing to you just send what you have). If you have only prints or slides please contact John Haines at the above e-mail address.
