Fiftieth anniversary Thames boat trip
This year Reading Offshore Sailing Club is celebrating FIFTY YEARS since it was formed back in 1971 and is pleased to invite Members, Ex Members, fellow Sailors and friends on a boat trip on the Thames starting and ending at Caversham in Reading.

Whilst as a club we are more usually to be found sailing around the coast it is hoped the trip will appeal to a wide audience. Still ‘on the water’ we will have a comfortable and interesting floating venue in the heart of where we are based and where we can catch up with old and new friends alike. The trip will depart from Salter’s Steamers base by Caversham Bridge and will cruise gently along the Thames before returning to Caversham at 18:00. A substantial buffet will be provided and drinks will be available from the bar.

In the event that the trip needs to be cancelled due to Covid restrictions the option of a full refund or future trip will be offered.
During the trip there will be a buffet, presentations and other entertainment as well as a chance to chat whilst enjoying the beautiful views as we cruise along the Thames.
